The weather forecast for the day was due for lots of rain and low cloud cover at approximately 300m. After yesterday’s very wet day I dint want another wet one with poor visibility
So after a bit of a web search I found a nice low level route that took me from Capel Curing in a 20 kilometre loop.
All of the images on there are a mixture of Ricoh GR II and Fujifilm X100S
So I parked just behind Joe Browns outdoor shop in a smallish public car park.
When I arrived in Capel Curig the clouds broke and the sun came out. Have I made the right decision here should I not be going up some mountains instead?
Ive been in Snowdonia enough to at least have some trust in the weather forecast and even though it’s nice in a valley it doesn’t mean its the same up tops
So I stuck to my initial decision, which turned out ok within about 20 minutes when the clouds came back and started to rain.
After a fairly long walk though a forest the path descended down to Dolwyddelan and past a Spar shop. A great opportunity for a quick refreshment stop just outside the church.
