I’ve just been up in Newcastle upon Tyne for a few days for work. My flight was rescheduled which gave me a few spare hours.
So I jumped on the metro which is a pretty short 25 minutes from where I was staying.
I did bring some film cameras, the Reto Slim and Wide and a Lomo LC-A, both loaded with black and white film.
The images here are all taken on my iPhone 12 Pro. I’ll do a separate post once I develop and scan the film.
The weather started off quite cloudy with the odd clear patch.
I headed down to the beach, luckily it was low tide so I could take a walk along the sand.
When you fly into Newcastle the plane passes over the city centre and then heads out to sea, flying over the light house.
It’s here that the heavens opened for about 10 minutes. At least you get dramatic lighting and sky.
I decided to head back to get some lunch, luckily it cleared fairly soon.
