9 days in Texas - Houston and Austin

I had a company kick off in Austin Texas arranged for the start of February. As I have a few customers in Houston I thought I would go over early for a few meetings there and then add some days on at the end for vacation in San Antonio.

A bit of an early start at Heathrow.

Normally I would have gone for a run in the morning to try and acclimatise to the time zone change.

Unfortunately, my first meeting was at 8:30 and their office was 40 minutes away so that put paid to that!

Woke up early so went down for an earlier than usual breakfast and a much needed coffee.

Did four meetings and got back for 4pm so managed to get a nice one hour run in before it got dark.

Had Saturday morning off so had a wander around the RICE university campus.

After that we drove over to Houston for the main event of the visit.

Another early morning run to kick the day off.

The company event started on Sunday afternoon so I had a bit of spare time for a photo walk. Surprisingly the weather was overcast and cold at about 7 degrees, not what I was expecting so didn’t have too much cold weather gear.
